The holidays are coming. The calendars are filling up. The to-do lists are getting longer. Before we dive headfirst into the beautiful chaos of the season, let's take a little time to slow down and get grounded.
Join us at Tanglewood Art Studios for an evening of movement, mindfulness, and a little new moon magic.
We'll begin with a moderate, accessible yoga practice to stretch, move, and reconnect with ourselves. Then we'll settle in with some bubbly water and a botanical tincture to help us unwind.
With a little guidance and some thoughtful prompts, we'll reflect on what we want to invite into the remaining weeks of the year. More peace? More play? Less saying yes to things we don't actually want to do? Whatever it is, we'll put those intentions on paper and close our time together with a symbolic burning ritual to release them into the universe.
No yoga experience necessary. No perfect intentions required. Just come as you are.
What to bring:
-
A yoga mat
-
Any supportive bolsters or pillows you'd like
-
A cozy blanket (especially if it's chilly!)
-
An open mind and a willingness to slow down
All levels are welcome, including complete beginners. Guided intention-setting prompts and a post-yoga botanical beverage are included.

Sylvia (she/her) is a 200-hour registered yoga teacher. Sylvia’s fitness background started in organized sports and continued post-college in weight lifting. Her experience in the gym translates to form-focused flows on the mat, a commitment to positive chatter, and of course, amazing playlists. Her classes remind us that we can have focus and work hard while still not taking anything too seriously. When she’s not on the mat she’s reading a cowboy western, spoiling her dog, or cooking a feast for all her friends.
Tanglewood Art Studios is more than just a studio—it’s a creative haven where artists of all backgrounds can connect, grow, and thrive. Rooted in the belief that art flourishes in a supportive and inspiring space, Tanglewood offers a place designed to fuel creativity. Whether through workshops, exhibitions, or community events, we are committed to fostering collaboration, excellence, and inclusivity in the arts.
