Title: Baby Carrots
Artist: Catherine Meyer
Medium: Acrylic, Oil Pastel, and Gold Leaf
Dimensions: 16" x 24" and ready to hang
Garden carrots have a reputation of being difficult to grow, but once you figure out the secret (lots of water early on), you are rewarded with some of the tastiest carrots you’ve ever eaten. Letting them bolt, or go to seed, you’ll see they are in the same family as dill and Queen Anne’s Lace with a beautiful white umbrella shaped flower. Mmmmmm, roasted carrots.
