478 Creatives and Macon Rising are partnering with Tanglewood Art Studios to present an exhibition of original, 12×12-inch artworks that confront the political moment. We’re looking for powerful visuals—whether that’s a figure holding a protest sign or a meditation on endangered national parks—to inspire dialogue, action, and hope.
Create your own act of resistance. Submissions may be literal or abstract, personal or global, but each must include a 1–2 sentence artist statement so viewers can connect deeply with your vision. Remember: Artists provide the respite, the soft place to land.

- Open to all visual artists nationwide.
- Works must be original pieces presented in frames or ready-to-hang formats, with the total finished dimensions—including the frame—measuring exactly 12″ × 12″ (no prints or reproductions).
- For 3D work, please contact us at hello@tanglewoodartstudios.com—space is limited.
- All 2D and 3D media are welcome.
- Up to 3 pieces per artist.
- 2D pieces must arrive ready to hang.
- Must include a 1–2 sentence artist statement so viewers can connect deeply with your vision.
- Entry fee: $20 (includes up to 3 submissions.)
- Artists are responsible for all shipping costs: shipping to Tanglewood Art Studios, and return shipping for any unsold work.
- All works must be for sale.
- Commission split: 60% to artist / 40% to gallery & 478 Creatives.

- Submissions Due: October 1, 2025 at 10 AM EST
- Notifications: By October 8 via email
- Drop-Off (Walk-In): October 13th, 14th, and 16th 9 AM–5 PM
