Helping others and raising awareness
Macon Periods Easier is a group of women that raises awareness of period poverty in Middle Georgia, gives students free access to menstrual hygiene products, and normalizes the conversation about periods. This is a passion project of mine. As a founding member of Macon Periods Easier, I designed and built the group’s branding, marketing strategy, and marketing collateral. The goal was to make discussing periods more approachable and less uncomfortable, so we could engage with the community. The logo—a circle made of shades of red—brings beauty and playfulness to an issue that usually doesn’t have those elements.
