Today, I learned about and celebrated the Muscogee heritage at the Ocmulgee Mounds.
Dancers performed, exhibiting rhythmic movements, storied regalia, and narrative gestures.
I’m reminded of my times visiting Iceland, a place rich with history and tradition, but, more importantly, a culture that actively maintains a vigorous connection to their roots. I find gratitude in the shared instinct to honor the past while shaping the future.
